Veterinarians at Oldwick Animal Hospital perform oral exams routinely and may recommend more extensive evaluation when necessary. A dog or cat having a dental procedure will spend the day with us, as cleanings, radiographs, and extractions are done under anesthesia.
Digital dental radiography shows the internal anatomy of your pet’s teeth, along with the tooth roots and surrounding bone. This allows us to diagnose bone loss or underlying disease that is not visible to the naked eye. Digital images are seen within seconds following exposure, allowing for rapid diagnosis and treatment. For this reason, dental radiography has become an integral part of our dental procedures.
